Feeling Good Emotionally Is As Important As Feeling Good Physically

There’s always been a lot of talk about what stress can do to an individual and what the signs and symptoms of stress are. But there some individuals that don’t feel like they’re under stress and yet they don’t feel good emotionally. There can be many factors to this and it’s important to start by identifying some of the potential problems that are creating this mood. A lot of the problem causes depends on the age of the person that’s not feeling so good about them.

If it’s a teenager then quite often it’s because of the transition stage that they’re going through between their childhood years and puberty. In the early 20s to 30s quite often it can be peer pressure caused from university or college and the feeling of not just being able to cut it and make the marks that they feel they should.

Often newlyweds will go through a time where they don’t feel good emotionally. They feel that they are inadequate particularly the wife if she doesn’t know how to do the regular household duties like cooking and multitasking especially if she has an outside job as well.

The best way to tackle this problem is to sit down and make a list of all of the things that are bothering you as far as why you do not feel good emotionally such as things that you’re just not happy with.

Start identifying the items on the list you really could do something about. You will most likely be surprised to find out that there are many things that are in your control and you can change them. Perhaps the problem has been that you haven’t had the time or taken the time to identify really what’s bothering you and stopping you from feeling good emotionally.

Now that you know what the problem is you need to put steps in place to change the things that you can do and those which you aren’t able to change then try and design ways that you can better cope with the issues.

If the problem seemed to stem from someone else that perhaps you’re just not happy with then maybe the best solution would be to approach this individual and discuss your concerns and tell them you are not feeling good emotionally.

When you’re going through an emotional down the best way to tackle it is head on. Don’t try and push it aside thinking that it will go away on its own because then what you’re doing is compounding the problem. Accept that there is a problem, identify and find ways to rectify it.
