Marco Island, Florida is a gorgeous place to live, work, or vacation. Located on the pretty Gulf of Mexico on the southwestern coast of Florida, it is the most expansive of the Sunshine State’s famous Ten Thousand Islands.

The famous Marco Cat wood carving discovered by archaeologist Frank Hamilton Cushing in 1896 was not so lfortunate; it was quickly put on display in the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C.

One will easily find beach front homes for sale, or homes facing one of the canals that provide boaters convenient waterway access to their home. Marco Island real estate is available in all price ranges, from the $60,000 ranges for a smaller condo to easily over $25 million for one of its more exclusive luxury estates.
As one might expect, you will find a wide variety of activities on Marco Island, including great restaurants, water sports, tennis, and more. Many places of business are situated in view of Marco’s coastal scenery, allowing diners to take in tropical birds like flamingos in their habitat while enjoying good food.
