Throuhout the wasps season We will be removing wasps nests throughout the whole of Wirral, Merseyside, Liverpool and South Cheshire for a set rate of 44.50.
The Waspman operate seven days per week including weekends and evenings and do not charge any supplement for evening and weekend call outs.
Wasps nests can usually be destroyed from the exterior of the building by blowing a small quantity of insecticide into the opening using a special device.
It is vital to get a wasps’ nest destroyed before mid-september when the new queens which will construct the following season’s nests start to be produced. Once this starts just destoying the nest will not kill these wasp queens as they are no longer returning to the nest. A single wasps nest can produce as many as 2000 queens.
In of the summer months we give priority to wasp nest calls as we know that many people suffer badly from wasps stings and it is important to deal with the nest as quickly as possible. We do our utmost to provide a rapid same day service but this is clearly governed by how busy we are.
It is neither necessary nor desirable to remove the wasps nest itself as it can’t be used again and, being made purely of wasp paper will crumble away of its own accord.
