Throuhout the wasps season Waspgo.co.uk will be dealing with wasps nests throughout Trafford, Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire for a fixed fee of £32.00 (£44.50 in postcodes (L, CH & CW).
We work 7 days per week including Saturdays, Sundays and evenings and do not charge extra for evening and weekend jobs.
Wasps nests can usually be destroyed from the outside of the property by injecting a small quantity of insecticide into the opening using a special machine.
It is vital to have a wasps’ nest treated before September when the new queens which will make the following season’s nests start to emerge from the nest. Once this starts simply destoying the nest will not eradicate these new queens as they are no longer using the nest. A single nest can produce up to 2000 queens.
During the wasp season we give priority to wasp calls as we are aware that many people suffer badly from wasps stings and it is important to remove the nest as quickly as possible. We do our utmost to provide a same day service but this is obviously constrained by how much work we have on.
It is neither necessary nor desirable to remove the wasp nest itself as it can’t be used again and, being built from purely of a paper like material it will eventually crumble away of its own accord.
