Getting the Determination to do it
Sometimes, it is really difficult to encourage yourself when you work from home. Most days I really don’t have problems getting all of my work completed and keeping on task, but lately I have found myself procrastinating a lot.
I believe it is because of the fact that while my Wrap Bracelet internet business is actually profitable, I am not challenged sufficiently by it. Do not get me wrong I have a lot of work that I could be doing, but it is the stuff I have found to be incredibly monotonous and mind-numbing. One example is online marketing, I do not like promoting and advertising, nothing and I mean absolutely nothing about marketing and advertising myself or my Bracelets is interesting to me. I realize this is a lousy attitude to have, and I have tried to put a positive spin on it but anytime I sit down to get a game plan together my head goes blank and I find something more important to do. I’m sure I’d have a whole lot more funds if I decide to put even just a 10th of the work into advertising. The outcomes are not always instant, like when I produce a new bracelet. So I feel like anything that I do fails to perform.
I have got to find a way to showcase my bracelets because I am extremely proud of the work that I do, and I really want customers to see all the thought and attention that I put into my wrap bracelets. I want them to love wearing them just as much as I like making them. To help motivate myself I’ll teach myself a new bracelet making method. It’ll give my buyers more choices and styles to choose from. As a bonus perhaps it’ll get me excited enough to advertise them by using the many advertising and marketing abilities that I have got, but up to now refuse to seriously put into practice. Come to think of it, actually crafting this article about my amazing procrastinating skills has encouraged me a tiny bit.
